35 years ago today, I professed my First Vows as a Jesuit, poverty, chastity and obedience, at the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Boston, along with my novice classmate Bill Campbell, SJ. I try my best to live those vows as fully as I can. And I thank God every day for my Jesuit vocation.
