Just checking Phil Neal's Wikipedia page and in the 1983-84 season he played 64 games for the Reds. This was the sixth season in a row he played 60 or more games. An absolute machine!

The oddest thing for me in his interview is that not once but twice, Slot reduced a three day gap between games down to two. Clearly and understandably he is a man feeling the pressure.
