One of the interesting things during Corbyn's leadership was that Labour didn't persue New Labour style triangulation, they argued against things from first principles. Very interesting and unusual for one of the two major parties

Ok, @drleonblack.bsky.social - so essentially likely tarrifs it will cause an economic downturn in exports from the EU reducing their capacity to buy from the UK etc.

This is the problem when you get someone who's spent a large part of their adult career outside of party politics, where having a good argument generally wins your case.

The only way is for the LibDems to have a 15-20 year project of winning a outright majority under FPTP or at least becoming the largest party in a hung parliament
