This discussion should end but one last, when did Oz discover rare meat, heavily charcoaled lamb chop was weekend fine dining at home. Fortunately we have mostly moved on. Except in 2024 many pub meals are reverting

Few cooking at home in Oz prior to the 70’s knew what a herb or spice was, except for Keens mustard powder and Worcestershire sauce of course.
