Aimless book collector constrained by the limitations of memory. Mostly thinking about Greece and Rome when not reading SF. Coffee addict. Appalled by what we have done and where we are. Often found looking through a lens at insects and other detritus.
So a few library copies. The oddities like me who still buy a wide range of books have to pass. After all, just spent that on TS Eliot. Which might count as nostalgia.

A book from childhood. Not sure I could make much now of Enid Blyton. But there's something appealing about that invocation of a past, amidst our present chaos and disarray: 'Now it was the summer holidays and already three weeks had gone by.'
