Cave Hill, Belfast, looking moody this afternoon.

Belfast's historic Crumlin Road Courthouse, built in 1850 & left in ruins for 27 years, screams potential. While last summer its owner asked for patience(!) this listed building continues to deteoriate under the watch of DfC & BCC. #SaveCrumlinRoadCourthouse

Stopped in my tracks by this magnificent Algerian Oak in Belfast Botanical Gardens. Deciduous but still in full leaf mid January.

A sensitive topic, but it's saddening that Northern Ireland lacks a major, universally accepted memorial to all those lost and affected by the Troubles. My vote would be for a Great Northern Forest, created with a native tree planted by each and every child who lives here. 🕊 🌳
