Cornish/ Irish Liberal, exiled in the North Oxfordshire badlands. Used to have a life now controlled by Spanish Water Dogs, a garden & a strange compulsion to do Lib Dem politics. Once described as the 'Boss' Tweed of North Oxfordshire Liberalism.
Haven't been wasting time whilst listening to the 🏏 on #bbctms no constructive time usage...
Slightly concerned that the autumn fruiting raspberries are ripe already.

In a highly skilled and technical operation the squirrel 🐿️ was successfully extracted from Masuda's mouth without me losing an arm - keeping two shut doors between us until her anger subsides.
Now casserole or roast?

The new Johnathan Meade's book has arrived via @unbounders.bsky.social not sure if I am supposed to read or mine it. Huge - if paying by word is your thing then this is value for money.
Have a couple of books to finish but will dive into this in next couple of days - should reappear in the spring...

Bit of a first world crisis at lunch - run out of Tipo 00 flour for the pasta. Had to use solina flour instead, which is at least Italian and actually makes great pasta
Sorted now though...

Flamenco came to Banbury, really enjoyable show and fantastic it could go ahead as the original venue is drying out from it's latest flood.

Don't think we are friends at the moment - happy to throw himself into a stagnant pool or muddy puddle but the wash every quarter is an outrage. Sitting next to me now back turned fuming...

He is about to move on to work with his new Boss - would go now but fireworks and effects on dogs in new surroundings means Guide 🦮 don't move around Nov 5

Did the church flowers last Sunday - quick secateur around the garden into vase etc. Universal view rather positive certainly not a bad effort - even the Memsahib was complimentary l.

Was messing about with maps I found Turns out I have all Lebanon military maps at 1:50000 and all Lebanon and west Syria at 1:250000. Not sure what I'll do with them. But recall thought a stupid idea to take them home to Mount Lebanon... a while back. Fairly sure could have been issues...

Oysterband are on a long farewell tour, went to Birmingham to see them off. First saw them on a beach in Cornwall in the mid-80s.
June Tabor is with them.
Hope they have a great retirement when it finally comes...

The re-homed Spanish 🌊 🐕 had two grass seeds taken out of her paw today - been lame since Friday.
I am obviously the bad guy, took hours to get her out of car - real aggression. We moved between rooms by going outside to avoid. Hopefully will calm down soon . Whining in sleep now. Poor girl
