Product Engineer. "You're absolutely right!"
I have, thank you. Just temporary contract work for the moment whilst I find something a bit more long-term🤞

Good luck with Black Friday, I'm sure you'll smash it!

I hear ya, Andy. The dev/design studio I previously worked for was hit hard this year, and ultimately had to let the team go. Very hard for the founders as we had such a tightly knit team. I miss those guys and it sucks :(

Makes a lot of sense, best of both worlds

Curious, are you applying for roles at Japanese companies or fully remote work for Western companies?

@danabra.mov do you know of musicForProgramming()? I stumbled across it the other week and can't stop listening to it: musicforprogramming.net/latest/

As much as I love Japan, not sure about working there, personally. Working 9pm+ every night is not abnormal out there, salaries are considerably lower, etc.

Still amazing country though, worth it just for the food.

Any ideas? Maybe @una.im @nerdy.dev might know?

The problem I am having is that I am using an imported Google font that requires `text-box: trim-both cap alphabetic` across the ENTIRE codebase, which is massive if I need to add this new property onto every text element's container.

I.e. I can't just apply to body and be done with it.

Gravy.js would be an incredibly British open-sauce project.
