I was just thinking that too. Having an actual party leader, identified early, who was the presidential candidate, and who would select a shadow cabinet, would be immensely powerful. Parties need to be effective fighting machines, otherwise what’s the point in being one!

If there were ever a time for a more united and expanded EU (inc the UK and - why not - Canada for good measure) and a single military it is now. Make America Irrelevant Again!
