I mind a guy in a pub in Edinburgh said he could recite the hale of Tam o shanter aff beh hert. I encouraged him to do it... Had no idea what I was letting myself in for. It took him about 15 minutes to get through it.

It seems that your issues with the SNHS are just part of a broader frustration you have with Scotland as a whole. Scotland, like anywhere, has its challenges, but not everyone shares the same view of it being ‘second rate.’ My experiences have been positive, and I know many others who feel the same.
