Would solidly bet like 70% of those folks have, at some point, engaged in a little bit of discrimination based on accent, as a treat.

Arianrhod is a big Japanese trpg that does a good job of running Isekai - particularly "one isekai'd character" variants. "Human" is a core book choice, with a gimmick that they start with 1 unique piece of modern tech.
So... a few years back I ended up running:
"In Another World With My 18 Wheeler"

It's a worse spellchecker, too. I need to do emails in a few different languages a day, and old one was pretty good at naturally swapping between them. I started getting spelling suggestions to change Catalan words to English they vaguely resembled this week, and just this morning found out why ^^^

I feel like I am sitting on the equally bad, but opposite side of this. I play a lot of story games, parlour one shots and Japanese trad RPGs currently, so sitting down to play UVG was a big eye opener to me that all this cool RPG stuff was happening elsewhere.
