Sounds like a great idea. Has the bill gained any traction in subcommittee?

I agree. We should invest a lot more in technical education as an equally viable alternative to the college prep path. And we need to present it as an honorable path, one that leads to a good union job, not as second-rate education for kids who can't find succeed in academia.

A growing number of voters clearly don't agree with this perception. What needs to change, as far as the policies we emphasize or how we choose our candidates, so that working class voters align with the Democrats?
