Visited the Heaton Mersey Common in Stockport pathways upgrading project. 2km of upgraded paths with fully accessible entrances from all around the park. Good connections to local schools.

I saw this bike outside my local supermarket. It's a thing of beauty. A converted old Orange mountain bike frame with a 1 x. The young lad had put a lot of effort and attention into building this. He let me pick it up, felt really light, about 8kg. TPU tubes on. A really nice everything bike.

I must have seen about 20 people cycling along the newly completed section of the Deansgate cycleway in Manchester at 9am.

Out of all the roads, one might hazard guess where you'd find mass flytipping? I would have never expected to find it on Crime Lane.

I admire people's lock setups when i see them. This is the £250 Hiploc D1000, the anti angle grinder lock. It's a totally appropriate lock for a long tail cargo bike. I worry when I see inappropriate locks for e-bikes etc

Warburton Bridge now has a proper pavement, rather than a dirt track. Before and after.

Old Road out of Whalley Bridge to Buxton before and after. Now, it is vastly improved and ridable on a road bike. Decent climb, too.

Cycle priority streets are great. Would work really well on somewhere like Burton Road in West Didsbury even Withington if the road isn't really wide enough for protected cycle lanes.

Not going to be able to walk, cycle or jog length of Mersey in Manchester for a while. Other image is a breach on one of the golf courses.

Was in Sheffield, had to visit the new 'dutch' roundabouts. Good experience walking around it, it's nice having priority and not having to judge traffic or push beg buttons.
