They are really trying to re-inflate the housing market because they have no other ideas for the economy, the morons. The Canadian economy is basically housing ponzi + mining resources + government spending. Truly pathetic WE NEED BETTER LEADERS.

Ford out today with the stupidest policy possible, removing HST on new homes up to $1 million. So:
1. ) We subsidize the purchases of the wealthy and home-owners at the expense of renters.
2.) Subsidize a market that is already setting world-records in terms of being inflated.
3.) Decrease tax rev.

Biden and Trump decided to run 7%+ deficits to GDP for no good reason other than electoral need. This is way overdue. (Gold really started to rise in the final two Biden years when pandemic deficits failed to normalize and got mega boosted again with the deficit busting OBBB)
