Technically, I suppose my first program (Lunar Lander, text version) was a Dec Prime mainframe using paper tapes FFS but yeah, same, VIC20 was my first. I even wrote a 6502 machine code word processor (of sorts!). It probably wasn't but it sure felt like a golden age back then.
