I have a sentimental attachment to the plant because my grandmother had a small lovely version in a planter on the front step of her old South Carolina home. She called it a “shrimp plant”. I thought maybe she had made up the name. Nope.

How I was qualified to be in the same room with him I don’t know. I went to a couple of his masterclasses and we had a couple dinners together. Here I’m at NAB 2016 with Dan Chung the left, Bruce, Paul Antico (I think) and Matthew Allard. A second shot when Bruce joined some friends for a dinner.
