He also had this in his startup apps which seemed suspicious and might've been related.

Yeah he was able to find it and kill it, I think he traced it to a file that had been added to his startup. Were you able to get rid of yours? There was a reddit post about it iirc I can share if needed

Might've been the same one actually, happened to him a couple weeks back and they spammed (really obvious) crypto phishing scams to a lot of servers he was in (and some group DMs)
