Genuine inquiry ... say more about this "bloodless 'positivity'"; I don't recall a lot of optimism in the party's last few campaigns, but I expect that's not what you mean.

But the NDP's not alone. I can't find a union or progressive think tank that loudly advocates for the reversal of that tax cut or of the two other income tax cuts that preceded it under Trudeau.

The NDP handwaves its opposition to "an austerity budget" without saying what that's supposed to mean. But it wasted no time in lining up behind this very specific and costly tax cut that will do little to spur investment or growth. And upper income people get the lion's share of the savings.
