I think 35m with 20% going to Chelsea just isn’t enough when we will get say 4-7 higher places with him in the team than without - and a chance of a trophy and a happier manager to boot.

As a Palace fan though I was worried during the game as we were knackered and clearly there for the taking. Villa however were not knackered and absolutely there for the taking. Bailey and Ramsey were very good players. I know we lost Eze. But Villa look short.

I know there’s nothing we can do about our owners. I think we had a right of reply with the tifo though and I think it was creative and also fair comment. But you feel otherwise so we’ve at least debated.

We don’t know what he wrote. He didn’t make the letter public. We haven’t seen it. We believe he is corrupt. So maybe there’s worse going on? The decision to demote us makes no sense to us. So uefa is being corrupted by marinakis and his dodgy gangster billions. Better to be curious than dead

But the point I was trying to make is that you can’t be offended by a group of fans pointing out another owner is corrupt. Or worse. Portsmouth did that to us with El Tel. “He’s fat, he’s round, he stole a million pounds, Venables, Venables”

Well with palace he did also write to uefa and so you can see how he might come out for special attention? Especially when the blind trust arrangement that we didn’t do and he did late is so obviously a load of total bullshit given his walking all over the city ground as clear owner. Very dodgy man

Whereas we know, when Wilf or Ebs or Olise gets the ball then we have a chance. More often than not nothing comes from it. At Chelsea Ebs gave the ball away or shit from distance with passes on. But as a fan he was magic to watch because with that skill there is always hope. Hope, not expectation.

Yes, fair enough. But there were times when they weren’t. And we encouraged. Eze said wilf was a huge influence for his stubborn confidence and seeing how the fans supported him whatever. Realised he could do the same at palace. Other grounds are different. The pressure is higher.

I agree I think neither is getting sold until after Thursday and possibly Thursday week if there’s work still to do. Plus we need reinforcements
