We need to be better than this - connect your political advocacy to a theory of change directed towards specific outcomes, and if not possible, as it might not be in Texas, just don't engage with the circus and direct your attention elsewhere where it can be more productive.

Because the reality is, if you don't set standards and plant your feet in the ground and demand the politicians meet you where you are, they are going to define the standards for you until there are none remaining beyond partisan shit flinging...

...and you need to realize it and evolve your civic engagement beyond the simple task of recognizing a two-party dichotomy and asking your team to clear perpetually low and right-ward shifting bars set by Republicans.

Just admit that you like these people because you vote based on vibes and partisan team sports loyalty, and if that's the case, you need to acknowledge that you're part of the problem with this country...

I can sense your face turning red with embarrassment, or at least it should be if you had any shame, because I understand that you can't point to a preferred policy, at least not one with specificity beyond generic platitudes (i.e. not policies).
