There is a great documentary "Light & Magic" about ILM, and one of the things they discussed was how the company moved over to computer graphics from a history of physical models. They mentioned that Jurassic Park was originally envisioned with stop-motion dinosaurs.

Agree. When we went to the Galápagos Islands, we took the good camera. Once in a lifetime trip we wanted to get the best photos we could. Our phones took nice pictures, but the Sony took amazing ones.
