A dusty old English academic and writer of articles about the Arizona Diamondbacks
If he weren't so witless, he would indeed be in protection. As it is, he DOES make sure to hide from any sort of interaction with nearly ANYONE, except when he pops his head up to make asinine comment. That he somehow ever got re-elected after having already been fired once still just blows my mind.

Without ACA subsidies, the entire last month and change was a completely unnecessary and cruel waste of time. Either stand up for something or get out of the way and let someone else do the job of governing.

TIL about the existence of Nerds Gummy Cluster and I'm not sure I was ready for them.

Hey, depending on your video, those buns might be putting in some serious overtime.

If they want to fund SNAP, they can. There is nothing in the world stopping them from tapping the emergency reserve set aside for this precise eventuality.

Yum. One of my few ever celebrity crushes.

If only winning the lawsuit mattered. At this point, the only way forward is through. They sure as hell aren't going to restore the now demolished East Wing.

Sitting at the bar, drinking and reading a book by myself, I feel this in my bones.

Consciously making an effort to be in public and still in one's own space is peak male behaviour in my book and I am here for it.

Like what? He has no actual authority to do more than pen this statement (whether he penned it himself or had a writer do it for him).

Good for them, but I am not sure why or how this is news. Lavender marriages have been around for a VERY long time, longer than the term, that is for sure.

Why can't United, the biggest team in the league and arguably one of the three biggest teams in the world, attract good ownership? Are they just TOO big for football people to buy?

Good to hear her saying she is improving and still doing well enough. We recently lost Jimmy Carter. It's too soon to be losing the other "best person in the country". Why can't we have more people like Dolly Parton and Jimmy Carter instead of whatever the hell this is we have now?

I have to change quarterly. It is far less secure now as a result. I simply don't have all the brain processing power to keep juggling randomness like that for too many logins. So now, they all follow a simple formula. Anyone who figures out the format knows the password.

He has no power beyond the strongly worded messages until after the next election, and even then he only can do more if the country flips Congress.

Congress currently belongs to the GOP. The GOP supports (mostly) the Trump agenda to gut everything and to go scorched Earth on the Constitution. So why would Congress do anything?

It's not a lack of Western consensus. It's a lack of consensus in the U.S. Some are Putin supporters. Others want Russia to GTFO. The rest of the West has a fairly clear vision on how the conflict ends - with Russia withdrawing.

This is the way. It is time to stop letting the administration dance around answering straightforward questions. It is time to stop letting these being questioned being the defining the direction of the "conversation".

With the massive head start that Haaland had, even Micky van de Ven would have still had a difficult time of getting back in to a position to contest Haaland's eventual shot. He was left completely unmarked in his own half and timed his break away run to perfection. United never stood a chance.

The Eagles are ATROCIOUS about the guards firing forward before the snap. If the refs called that, the play would be far less egregious. Maybe a simple fix is to allow a replay review at the end of the play to verify the snap. But that too would get exploited probably. I still like the play though.

American rules football was spun out of rugby, so it would make sense for there to still be some facets that work and are appreciated. I would rather see stuff like the tush-push than many of the more recent "innovations" in the American game.
