So exciting! Studying malaria infection in vitro! The human malaria parasite is specific to humans: you can't study the same parasite in animal models. The lab of @mariabernabeu.bsky.social build beautiful human blood vessels in vitro, & do the experiments there: www.nature.com/articles/s41...
