Iceland was absolutely gorgeous and such a fun time. It’s also the Utah of Europe: gorgeous vistas, kind of isolated, and obsessed with sugar and not drinking

FINALLY killed the first Nightlord which took me 20 hours of experimenting with different builds but Ironeye really is the best solo character for me. I also don’t know if this is legit but my passive drops got way better recently so I’m not sure if some patch balancing was done. On to the next!

Superman was absolutely stellar. Adored how Gunn gets you invested in this fallible Superman and places his power in a shaky world that’s had time to acclimate and react to his power in interesting ways from the Justice Gang to Lex Luthor. I don’t know how you do the character any better.

I took like 10 tries to beat the Dualliste (who has big Pontiff Sulyvahn vibes) in Clair Obscur and then Verso’s immediate next line of dialogue is “see, they weren’t so strong” and I died laughing

Thunderbolts was absurdly good. A ton of fun (except when it was deeply depressing), great cinematography, excellent interplay between the team and a thrilling climax that’s going to lead into an exciting new direction. Sentry was incredibly cool and the design was outstanding.

Finally finished The Bright Sword last night which was just insanely good it made me care, for the first time, about the King Arthur mythos. Just an absolute banger of a book that I’d highly recommend for anyone.

Loved the introduction to the Abyss Watchers in DS3 and the second phase of the fight was really cool but my goodness that took me SO many tries to finally beat them.

Watched Venom the Last Dance and despite Knull being literally nothing I…actually enjoyed it? Despite hating the second one I thought this one was fairly focused and the buddy roadtrip aspects were a lot of fun. Great shut your brain off and go “ooh” movie.
