(I absolutely love Salisbury Cathedral, likely far more than it deserves, and partly because it is ridiculous not despite it.)

Also they built more of it after that? Like not just finished it, they built stuff they hadn't planned. I guess more accurately they took a diversion before finishing it to make it heavier by adding bits.

Genuinely don't understand why he hasn't declared a Street Party for Britain, or a Festival of Mild Hope or something. I mean, he'd have to arm wrestle Rachel Reeves but maybe he can get McSweeney to do that for him.

(Then default data view I encounter in some web-based games, and ... yeah, it's exactly as annoying as you might expect because they need to roundtrip everything to the server to try to detect cheating or something.)

What I just encountered was something that literally had a white screen until it had loaded the data - but my session had expired, and it took MANY SECONDS for it to figure that out and finally show a login box.
