Bread update - it would seem the starter is now ready to perform :)

This was about 7 hours start to finish

First test bake with the new sourdough starter. Oven spring went crazy, so safe to say the starter is at least… effective :)

I have ascended

Got my son his new guitar today - he had been saving up and asking family for guitar fund money rather than birthday presents. There are few feelings more satisfying for me than seeing and hearing him engrossed in his new instrument. He's been composing and recording all evening.

Trip with the fam up to Fort Bragg last week. Just brought the minimal amount of music gear so we could fit everything into the car. Airbnb had a perfect bay window to set the mini studio up in

Kid and I have been having so much fun playing with Pisound and MODEP on a Raspberry Pi 5. Pretty awesome "pedal" with amp/cab modelling as well as all manner of effects, and the ability to control everything with external MIDI devices.

31 years between these two purchases. (Yay, got a piano recently and diving back in!)
