Trying to have a light hearted social media experience as opposed to X.

Love to joke and use sarcasm but not to offend.
Totally fair. At the time, “security” largely meant national survival without standing armies, which is why militias drawn from the states mattered so much.

Foreign defense was a purpose, not the purpose. The founders feared standing armies as tools of invasion and internal oppression. Militias checked federal power and preserved state autonomy. These ideas aren’t mutually exclusive.

The Second Amendment was meant to prevent federal tyranny by ensuring an armed populace organized through state militias, rooted in 18th-century assumptions about citizen soldiers… with slavery being a contextual factor in some states, not the amendment’s central purpose.

And we’ll never be able to hold them accountable because they’re allowed to hide their identities for that exact purpose.

Useless if we can’t hold anyone accountable because they brush it off.

I’m sorry but can you back up the claim that he won by a landslide? And no, he only won the election. Please consider learning about the difference between the branches and how they work. www.dailykos.com/stories/2024...

Same here.

Well, at least we won’t have to worry about starting fires though.

You’re absolutely right! I always say: There are three sides to every story, yours, theirs, and the truth.

Wireless network engineer chiming in (a bit late). Your followers summed it up nicely:

Extenders? Not so great.
Mesh networks? Definitely better.

Just pick a solid brand and you’ll be good to go.

This will affect my region in the PNW big time and I will suffer for it but I support Canada’s decision.

And were you able to find what constitutes a “landslide” and how it compares to the past few elections?

Thanks. Can’t wait.

dicey63.bsky.social You should know Trump didn’t win all three branches. He won the Electoral College, which determines the presidency, only part of the executive branch. He did not “win” the legislative or judicial branches, as those are separate and not something a president can personally win.

I don’t disagree that he won. But can you explain in detail how it was by a “landslide” and how it compares to the past few elections?
March 3, 2025 at 3:51 PM
Except they don’t see it that way. No patriotism or backbone. And I considered my self a republican back in the day.

Right!? It’s almost like making conscious choices isn’t good enough unless you fully conform. Thanks for the support!
