That's usually always the issue. I had several cats over a 37 year period. Most would let me clip their nails w/o much fuss. I only had one cat that was originally a stray that put up the biggest fits... & she was a little dolly in appearance too. She used to sharpen her claws on an OAK chair leg! 😱

I would simply select a few chosen favorites and place them on a dresser or along a bookshelf, nightstand, windowsill etc.
They're small and can be easily moved about temporarily to add a tiny amount of pleasure to your surroundings. 🚙😃🚜

The motion blur plays very well off the winding road traffic sign... almost as if the motion blur is causing the car to swerve on the sign itself. A very abstract association that would not be present w/o the blur. 🤩

No kidding. You're not telling me anything I'm not already fully aware of. On the other hand, those in my country who live in "bad" neighborhoods still live with similar fears of violence no matter what the disparity of actual numbers in total. I'm glad I'm here but it's not some kind of paradise.

I am fully aware of that but to think that Canada is an oasis devoid of heinous crime is not accurate. Another statistic to consider is that the population of the U.S. is approximately 10 times that of Canada. Regardless of activity or an event, more will occur in the U.S. vs Canada.

An almost identical attack occurred just a few years ago in #Toronto at Kipling Station while sitting on a #TTC bus. I lived most of my life in Toronto & watched the city degrade considerably over the years & is caused by the same problems seen in other cities.
