Medicare (by the nature of it), already has any of the medical claims / data built to the program. I *think* this is just modernizing the intake to the program, and not fundamentally changing any of the data exchanges that are in use today.

Unless I'm missing something bigger, all the sharing of information is still protected by HIPPA (meaning as a patient, you are supposed to be asked before data is shared). This all built on FHIR, which is a standard that's already used to exchange health data.

Hopefully coming with a new TV. Have one that is *struggling* (will basically just shut down about 1/week and requires unplugging the cord to get it to respond).
