The main problem for me is you don't learn how to be bad at things. Other kids are learning to struggle and work through shit; I'm over here thinking that things are just supposed to come easy, and if something is ever difficult then that's just not for me and I might as well give up now.

I was the kid that grew up wanting to be an archaeologist (and could spell it) even though I never saw Indiana Jones. I just liked that shit, and I still keep up with it. I could tell you about at least eight different species of human if you get a few drinks in me.

The pain doesn't even really bother me, it's just crazy how much more difficult everything is when I can't use my good hand. The simplest things, like just going to the bathroom and getting my pants back on is a whole ordeal

I was a genuine nerd, back when that word *meant* something. I liked math and puns and I think grammar matters. For a school project I made a genealogy chart of Greek gods; it was a MESS.
