🇫🇷⭐️ Joyous PSG one step away from an occasion fitting of their brilliance.

Opening 30 minutes set the tone, but the way they controlled the game’s finale just as impressive👇🏻

This was another coming-of-age display from Arsenal, who didn’t have to work all that hard to book their place in the last four.

Madrid, for all their pre-match talk, fell flat. A new direction is required👇🏻

This was a special Emirates night. Atmosphere electric and Arteta’s men responded via Rice’s tracer bullet of a right boot.

Collective mastery won out versus individual genius, but the Gunners are only halfway there👇🏻

genuinely isn’t a single PSG individual you can fault tonight. a monumental effort all over.

perhaps luis enrique wasn’t carried by MSN after all. who’d have thought?! one of the very best.

Felt like this was a mere teaser for what’s bound to be a barnstorming second leg.

There were swings, but neither side truly seized upon their momentum. This was a game defined by the brilliance of the three goals👇🏻

Ardon Jashari caught my eye in the first half against City. Been excellent in Brugge’s Champions League games since.

Swaggers around with quite a distinct gait. Lovely passer boasting plenty of industry. Suspect he’ll be one who moves on this summer.

Plenty of talk surrounding Martin Ødegaard after the weekend, but Mikel Arteta must also reconsider Declan Rice’s role.

Been excellent since he joined, but found wanting on occasions.

Don’t like seeing him ahead of the ball, operating as a reference point BTL👇🏻

Is Mikel Arteta misusing Declan Rice?
Declan Rice has been an excellent signing, but his poor performance against West Ham brought to light concerns that Mikel Arteta might be misusing him.

Real Madrid are starting to look ominous. That imperious air has quickly returned after a three-game winless run in La Liga.

Their 2-0 win over Girona was as routine as it gets. Modric has a big role to play down the stretch, Mbappe/Vini partnership blossoming👇🏻

Shouldn’t be understated just how good at football Pedri is.

😬 This was another chastening night at St. James’ Park for a tired Arsenal squad.

This was a brilliant night for Luis Enrique, who schooled a long-time friend.

PSG outstanding excluding five-minute blip, with character shown amid adversity, especially from young stars, hugely encouraging.

Report on a belter Paris👇🏻

An anti-climactic end to a whirlwind romance in Naples for Kvaradona.

He’ll be fated by Neapolitans in perpetuity for 2022/23, but this season has perhaps shown that Kvara shines in the Robin role.

A star in his own right, undoubtedly, but it felt like a piece of him left with Osimhen.

Martin Ødegaard’s been a real concern since Saka’s injury.

Instead of relishing the responsibility he seems to have gone into his shell. Has looked a far meeker iteration of himself in recent weeks.
January 7, 2025 at 10:16 PM
A Tottenham vs Newcastle final at Wembley would be special.
January 7, 2025 at 10:05 PM
This Alexander Isak performance couldnt arrive in a more fitting environment.

Arsenal must be looking on with seething envy.

Just vintage Premier League football. Key difference for United was the aggression of their centre-halves (and the pivot, of course).

Bruno Fernandes and Alexis Mac Allister absolutely outstanding. Dictators amid the chaos.

Immediate thoughts on Cunha to Arsenal.

Lovely player who’ll make the Gunners more watchable, but that’s not what Mikel Arteta wants👇🏻

Why Matheus Cunha to Arsenal transfer links do not make sense
Arsenal have been linked with a January move for Wolves star Matheus Cunha, but the Gunners would be wise to opt against pursuing the Brazilian.

There’s no way Amorim can continue with the 3-4-2-1 with United’s current personnel.

So easy to match up against, too reliant on up back and throughs, requires specialists who are hard to attain in the market & gaping voids in the ‘pressing’ structure.

INEOS are impatient.
