Community is EVERYTHING ❤️❤️
Writing advice that should be more popular than it is:
- Take workshops taught by writers in your community
- Go to book launches and readings in your community
- Proactively practice craft by reading about it, applying what you read, and discussing it in your community

Unsolicited writing advice, no. #766: Writing is a community. Participate in it if you can. Engage with other writers. Lift them up, and they’ll do the same. Try to go it alone, or treat other writers as rivals, and you’re more likely to sink than swim.
