I can’t believe it. I’ve been a less active lately and was so disappointed to see this.

Public health is cost savings. It’s better for babies and kids. Pediatricians know this. We want to save children. Not put them through painful procedures when they get sick from vaccine preventable illnesses.

It’s not about making $$. It was always about saving kids.

4. Bosses- show up! If healthcare admin were visible- spending time w/us when the computers don’t work or families yell at us, see us drowning to help a kid on a holiday weekend bc we don’t have staff-we would trust them more.

I’m kind of a boss now & “showing up” is my main strategy.

3. So many mentors. Started with a my synchro swimming coach, then my high school bio teacher, and then my college bio prof and research mentor.
