Just a really good 3D platformer! The level design was really strong, the challenge rooms and puzzles were good. General gameplay was fun and clean. Just a good time!

A fun mobile game that I didn't realize had a set end credits. I've just been. chipping away at it for the last 7 or so months. Truly "a nice way to spend some time in the morning drinking some coffee".

Just a beautiful and fun game, even more so than it's predecessor. The Combat and action feels snappy and fun. Stumbling across harsh landscapes still feels great. A really complete and composed narrative. in conclusion, Kojima Continues To Do It, Furthermore.

Really cute game with incredible music and vibes. I feel like this game could have had another gear to it, but I really liked what was there and enjoyed my time hanging out in the town with those characters.

I loved Undertale and I've loved the first half of Deltarune. The game continues to be a narrative and mechanical masterpiece. Nobody blends mechanics and story as seamlessly as Toby Fox. I don't think it's quite as tight of a narrative as UT but that's fine.

What a beautiful game. One of the saddest games (and frankly, pieces of media?) I've ever experienced. It's a love letter to classic JRPGs layered inside a memorable and deep story filled with characters I will take with me for a long time. Absolutely a must-play.

What a deeply odd game. The pacing is all over the place. The overworld mechanics and interactions are completely unnecessary and half-baked. But I still enjoyed the moment-to-moment detective work a lot. It's a deeply flawed game that never comes together for me, unfortunately.

Idk man. I really liked the first half of this game but it kinda fell apart for me. Didn’t know what to do with its companions. Muddled storylines. I didn’t love the combat overall. But still, the 1st half and the side quests hit for me. I think I’m just kinda over this type of game?

A beautifully written and thoughtful game centered around the idea of "what does it take to relax". I loved the story and characters of this game. The lifesim elements were relaxed and straightforward but still felt enjoyable to repeat. A game that encourages you to lose yourself.

I just love these games so much. Delightful and silly pirate story that was a blast to play the entire time. Definitely a more straightforward narrative than usual, but the combat and pirate battles worked well for me. RGG just never misses!

Rightfully considered a classic of the platformer genre. Laid the groundwork for one of the best games of this century in Pizza Tower. Wonderful level design and music flushed out with airtight verbs. Just a delightful all-around game.

A perfectly adequate 3D platformer that doesn't overstay its welcome and has some pretty decent level design. There's just not a lot of meat on this bone. IDK I wanted something stupid and simple to play and this was that.

A fantastic-looking game with a meticulously plotted and well-executed narrative structure that, unfortunately, was poorly written imo lol. A game that could not help itself but to lean over every 15 minutes and say "u know this says a lot about modern society right".

This game did a great job at making exploration, collection, and traversal feel fresh and engaging the entirety of its (relatively) short run time. Really good art and characters inside a cool SciFi setting. Definitely worth your time if you're looking for something low-key.

This is a really killer narrative Choose Your Own Adventure game. It has a lot of humor wrapped inside a very enjoyable meta-commentary on gaming and the mundanity of modern life. I probably got about half the endings in my three hours with it, which felt good enough for me

I can't stress enough how much I appreciated the restraint MG had in making this. In the wrong hands, I would have been frowning at an inventory full of gold-rarity whip handles and 3 skill trees. Just a straightforward adventure game that kicked ass to play.

First of the year! So what if I played like half of it in 2024? Really strong game in the 3D Zelda mold. Incredible art design and vibes. It felt very 2006 at times, for better and worse. Still: I had a nice time working through this one. Good game!

Deck Nine is really good at making these--I definitely like this one more than the OG. That being said, hm, maybe I just don't like the main OG LIS characters that much. That's probably on me, though. Overall good narrative and these are just so well made.

A beautiful game. All the math, style and characters you love from a Persona put into a fully fresh fantasy setting. Really incredible writing in this game. Late-game combat fell a little flat to me, but otherwise, a really good 90+ hour time.
