Exactly! It also leaves left voters in a tricky position. I don’t want the tories in power but I also can’t vote for a party that is harming disabled/trans etc people.

People voted labour because they wanted change from tories. All labour have done is be just as right wing. All this will do is push people further right because the ‘left’ let them down. I think we will see an increase in support for reform next election.

Thank you for the encouragement! I work in social care and was vulnerable myself so know how it important it is and blue sky reminded me of that. Maybe I’ll start small and wear it to the supermarket.

I would mask for hours on end everyday as a carer then also outside as a vulnerable person. I could cope with a shield and mask for 10 hours in the heat. I masked for way past the peak of the pandemic. I just can’t bring myself to do it now and I don’t know why.

It’s horrifying, as a disabled person who looks after disabled people I’m very worried about the children and families I support! Also for the trans people also being targeted by the current labour government.
