Oh, lort…the only imagery I can picture with that is 2016 Trump supporters eagerly posting kek/Pepe-the-frog memes.

For most of my life, I’d assumed that human intelligence graphed on a steep bell-curve, with most people falling roughly within a narrow band to either side of “average” on the peak of that bell.

Increasingly, I’m realizing that assumption was naïve.

BTW, I love your [Alphonse Mucha] Art Nouveau header image!

Oh hi Grammy! I was over on [redacted] under a different handle.

Decided to start fresh here on Bsky with a new nom-de-NAFO after the US elections.

Thanks so much for the follow — obvs following you back now too.

Slava Ukraïni!

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing… I mean… unless the Israelis are using a Library and its URL for some other surreptitious / nefarious purpose… then taking down a library website would be rather counterproductive, no?

They probably know they’ll be flagged by the authorities for *buying* either, since both are considered “subversive” by state security services.

If they *steal* the Russian constitution or Orwell’s 1984, there’s no record created of the person seeking out or owning them…

While working for Kentucky Senator Rand Paul, "Sergio Gor" and Senator Paul took a week-long trip to Russia in August of 2018.
Shortly after this trip, Senator Paul promoted him to the position of Deputy Chief of Staff in January 2019.

Obviously they’re cowards—not the issue

It’s the reliance on the same vapid reasoning as Qanon to make its point

“You can’t spell __ without __” is the same anagram-parsing drivel that drives MAGA conspiracism

Won’t win any hearts or minds—what is does do: frame Trump’s opposition as meaningless

The evangelicals eat this shit up.

No joke.

Tucker knows he just won major cred with the Christian nationalist crowd, has them in the palm of his hand.

What about helping UKRAINE?

Yep

Because it relies on the same vapid reasoning as Qanon-type thinking to make its point

“You can’t spell __ without __” is the same type of anagram-parsing drivel that drives MAGA conspiracy theories

It’s meaningless

😂 Thanks AI

Fair point abt playing within a fickle algo

…but for these guys specifically—who work with/function-as Dem mouthpieces—it goes back to the Dem inauthenticity problem we touched on

This US moment requires no spin. Dems COULD easily own public opinion if they’d just call a spade a spade

I mean… you can’t spell “nice” or “poultice” without ‘ice” either. But pointing it out doesn’t make it meaningful.

There are so many valid criticisms to be made against ICE, Trump, Miller, and MAGA, but this isn’t one of them—it in fact cheapens & distracts from them.

At least with BTC, I agree with what he has to say most of the time— his actual content in the vids is worthwhile— which is what makes his use of deceptive thumbnail images/titles so much more frustrating.

I actually *want* people seeing his content… these clickbait tactics get in the way of that.
June 19, 2025 at 5:11 PM
Yeah, I did exactly the same thing.
June 19, 2025 at 5:02 PM
Pakman’s cognitive dissonance & rampantly fallacious framing is so insufferable that I’ve sometimes wondered if he’s actually a mole trying to poison discourse—destroying valid Trump criticism & Dem viewpoints

While not as bad, I’d add Ben Meiselas of MTN to the list for willful misrepresentation
