Dedicated to Crumbling the Patriarchy
I know! I cackled along with everyone else! But the stretch where Alex' sweet home life was replaced with alternating absent and violent parents hit PRETTY CLOSE TO HOME.

I have a lot of feelings about that movie! Mostly it just made me SO SAD.

I have been in the civil service for so long now that I'm not even sure how much of what I write in any given things IS jargon. Definitely a lot. Maybe more than half? Tough to say.

Thank you guys so much!

Lete add a detail or two: I live in a Dublin suburb, with medium good cycle infrastructure. The eldest can cycle a K or 2 at a go, but no farther, and most extra curriculars are farther.

I have a Babboe City acoustic, and am comfortable with a fair bit of bike wrenching.

Money definitely is a factor, but it can be flexible.

That could definitely work. I'm on a Babboe City acoustic, so I might need to diy it.

That's true, but I live in Ireland. The eldest can cycle to school, but not as far as to music class or football or barbershop. I'm looking for a solution that bridges the gap.

We currently have a Babboe city that I use for school runs and general moving kids around. We're in Ireland too, so having the rain cover to help them stay dry in the winter is pretty necessary.
