It feels like the writers are more used to television sitcom pacing. It's like a pitch for a boomer/millenial odd couple dealio. But the main lead lady and her bf feel out of place? Like a Hallmark movie got wedged into the odd couple sitcom.

One of Xemnas's "Gyah!" grunts sounds damn near identical to the one Ansem does in KH1. I'm hoping it's intentional bc that sound lives rent free in my head and I love it 😂
