I’ve been using these connecting lines as an unfinished script almost daily, and I still need to turn it into a proper extension. It’s super handy how the lines automatically detect positions :)

I saw this a while ago by @antonkudin.bsky.social (reposted by @mysteropodes.bsky.social) in C4D on Twitter and decided to remake it in After Effects. It might evolve into a script eventually. The math behind it was absolutely mind-boggling!
