when you restrict immigration, you need younger people to do physical labor, especially at a time when social security demand will be high. businesses will have serious labor issues, causing some to fail and some to automate. for all of its history, the US has supplied cheap labor with immigration.

While all of this is happening, ICE continues to carry out unjust raids. He is requiring all students who want a visa to give them access to their social media accounts, leading to the erosion of America’s universities, one of its biggest strengths in the world.

Furthermore, if American industry does reinvest in domestic manufacturing, it will likely be automated due to the high cost of American labor. This will result in capital owners reaping a significant majority of the benefits, while everyday Americans will bear the brunt of the costs.

If this is the case, I believe Trump is prepared to allow prices to rise for consumers to promote American industry. However, the benefits of these tariffs will disproportionately benefit the wealthy rather than the average American.

Let me know if I'm interpreting this correctly - incorporating average swing speed into wRC+ projections explains 4% more of the variance in wRC+? And 1 MPH of swing speed is projected to increase wRC+ by 2.2 points?
