Bryan Talbot's epiphany from "Alice in Sunderland" (starring St Scott McCloud, of course) - now properly hung in the drawing and comics-studio at Malmö university. The frame is assembled from the Peder Damborg (Copenhagen) catalogue. May it inspire our comics studies : )

Reminder: Comics research can be about inconvenient truths. A painted plastic cow can be a reference to a comic, same with a photo of it - neither is a comic.

Sequential pictorial storytelling it is. Drawn it is not. Story of my great-grandfather's part in WW1. Same madness back then... Illustrated with old fotos and objects from the family archive.

Yes.
That is part and parcel of being the author and illustrator who gives voice to whatever narrator(s) appearing implicitly and obviously in a narrative ; )
I attach Jamiri's "oeyn returns": even god is subject to the artist's decision and changed into a duck to prove the author's creative might 😁
