Yeah it's a bit nuts and comes off as oddly kinkshaming considering the source material. Like, the guidelines on the MGE Wiki aren't even current; KC has added an explicit ban on futa monster girls fucking other monster girls or human women since then, only male-on-futa (or vv.) is allowed. Weird.

What I've heard from someone who's much deeper into the MGE fandom than me is that Kenkou Cross has gotten ultra-defensive in the past half decade or so to the point where the guidelines aren't even lore-compliant themselves and has gotten the most fanatical fans to effectively police fan works.

Unfortunately Japanese copyright law lets artists be extremely restrictive if they want to be. Moral rights let the original author say "I don't like that" and take anything even vaguely derivative down just like that, and those rights cannot ever be waived, even if the actual copyright is sold off.
