I like shakir but he is probably WR3 on pretty much any other team.
January 20, 2026 at 4:34 AM
I mean who is better? Maybe Shakir but he’s a slot guy, when was the last time they threw to him more than 5 yds downfield? Plus he was responsible for that whiffed block on the fumble to start the second half. Keon is sadly awful. Samuel not a contributor, Hardman an after thought.

Sad to see him go. All around seemed like a great guy and built a great culture.

But the culture can just as strongly be attributed to Allen and the kind of person and player he is. I think it continues.

Is it a mistake? Maybe. But it’s become clear the Bills were never gonna win a SB with him.

I admire Cooks being out there and trying his best, he just doesn’t have it any more.

And if the Bills have less self-inflicted wounds, the game doesn’t come down to that anyway. They outplayed the Broncos all together but a few key mistakes lost the game.

Plenty of blame to go around.
January 20, 2026 at 1:48 AM
Yeah I think it’s bizarre they didn’t spend more time looking at it.
January 20, 2026 at 12:58 AM
I’m a big Bills fan but I think he is right.

Our main criticism should be how did we get in a position where the ghost of Brandin Cooks is our best receiver who couldn’t make even the slightest effort to fight for at least 50:50 possession of the ball to win the game.

Can we hold out hope that maybe they’re keeping Beane around to help hire the HC since he would at least be better equipped to do it than Pegula alone (see: Sabres)?

I don’t think I can emotionally handle any more draft whiffs by Beane.
January 19, 2026 at 5:57 PM
Bittersweet but a change at the top was needed. But idk how they can justify keeping Beane around, although I guess I trust his evaluation of new head coaches better than Pegula’s. Best case they’ll hire a new HC and then dust Beane after.
January 19, 2026 at 4:14 PM
McD seems like a great coach to take a team from irrelevance into relevance again, but that might be his ceiling.

Even the drought breaking year he made some awful moves, like benching Tyrod for Peterman mid season.

McD and Beane have made 1 good decision which has saved their jobs: drafting 17
January 18, 2026 at 2:30 AM
Its not just tonight its been the theme all year. The team should be performing at a level where being on the wrong end of a couple 50:50 calls doesnt lose you the game.

The front office has failed to put even an average level of talent around Allen. And McD & co take far too long to adjust on field
January 18, 2026 at 1:43 AM
I dont know i think they just hope Keon Coleman develops into an WR1.

jk
January 18, 2026 at 1:28 AM
I dont know how anyone could think this is a well coached team. Consistently too many mental mistakes, poor play calling, poor clock management.

The strategy of be conservative, run the clock, fall behind, and then when left with no choice hope JA17 heroics in 4th Qt win the game. Not sustainable.
January 18, 2026 at 1:26 AM
Brutal to see the refs hand them the game like that, but plenty of blame to go around for that loss. Maybe if brady doesnt turtle in overtime with 3 first down runs for 0 yards, we are not forced into several 3rd and longs, thats not sustainable.

Starts at the top. It’s time to reset at coach.
January 18, 2026 at 1:22 AM
Add it to the Bills lore. The game swiped right out of brandin cooks hands. Maybe if we had a real wide receiver.
January 18, 2026 at 1:15 AM
Beane, Brady, and McDermott need to be gone tonight. It’s time.
January 18, 2026 at 1:14 AM
Dont forget about the Bills shooting themselves in the foot with the offsides one on the fumbles.
January 17, 2026 at 11:19 PM
I thought it was a lateral at first too. But I think you are right, just awful ball protection. Unfortunately it’s due to Josh trying to do too much since he realizes everyone else on his team is ass.
January 17, 2026 at 11:14 PM
How is this guy an NFL receiver
January 17, 2026 at 10:49 PM
Its boggles my mind that people still use twitter after Musk has driven it into the ground, its become a cesspool.

I mean I understand why someone with a large audience like you used it since it is still far more active and visible. But the interactions are a lot lower quality.
January 16, 2026 at 5:59 PM
This is how I feel about the Bills. Every 2nd down is either a run or screen pass. Way too many third and longs. It’s why theyve needed 4th quarter Josh Allen to some save them way too many times this year after they’re finally forced to abandon their conservative game plan because they are losing.
January 15, 2026 at 3:46 AM
Obviously worked out, but wrong call. Have Josh nose dive at the half yard line twice to burn the time out and run the clock down to 10 seconds, then two shots at tush push to take the lead with almost no time left.

Ill take the win but I have such little faith in McDermott’s football strategy.
January 11, 2026 at 9:41 PM
This feels like the exact opposite of those O’s magic years.
May 17, 2025 at 2:36 AM
President Pete, can’t wait for you to come save our country in 4 years
February 18, 2025 at 9:14 PM
And the game wasn’t even as close as the score makes it look.
