Test is. Ask him if Elon’s the fastest person in the world. Or better yet, if he’d win a sprint against the reigning 100 meter champion.

Well there goes the one thing in my life I was certain about: I deserve detailed, personal responses from every conversational expert I follow on BlueSky. Back to the salt mines of Friendster for me!0

Someone should search through the “mainstream media” to flag all the times they quoted some rando Twitter user as the voice of the American people, then cross-reference with the unmasked international trolls.

It sure looks like Axios got played here. Ukraine held the line, but it was Axios who put them under terrible pressure. The only clear things about this shitshow are that Axios owes us an explanation, and that media must stop printing 'scoops' from motivated sources while granting them anonymity. 5/
Ukraine is rejecting Trump’s plan right now at the UN Security Council.

She wants to leave house gop in a pinch. Dems just added me seat certain to add another in March(!!) in Texas, may flip one in Tennessee. Could be 218-216 then one Republican can flip the chamber on the right day.

I think the solution is to accept that most people can hold those two ideas in their head at the same time, as you have, and shouldn't sweat when the occasional indicator shows an improvement in one area or another. Data is noisy. That's why the broad indicators are the best starting point.

I got out of the cap-weighted S&P a few months back because it was so top-heavy. seems like a better hedge against volatility.

That was definitely top of my mind.

In other words, people fashioning a turkey-shaped meatloaf from ground beef are in for a world of hurt.

Frozen turkey drop: fortune.com/2024/11/28/a...

There’s also a cannon which fires chickens (not turkeys) at planes. they've used frozen chickens at time, and they can do some damage. Was looking for that story, but this is more on point.

For the third straight year, a resident named Esther Keim has been flying low and slow in a small plane over rural parts of south-central Alaska, dropping frozen turkeys.

Guessing that the frozen turkey drop is responsible for the entire price drop.

Which components are driving the drop?

Really, it’s because of the innovation in the crypto space. Blackmailers and extortionists now prefer Tether over Bitcoin. Since extortion, scams, and blackmail were the only useful function of Bitcoin, people are realizing the party is over.

I once led a successful campaign to extort free donuts from Flickr. It was glorious.

Question: How many times since the top-2 system came along did the minority party secure the top-2 spots?
November 21, 2025 at 6:04 AM
Odds are less than 5%. After a few months most will fall into low single digits and drop out, leaving 2-3 dems. Dems splitting the vote 3 ways beats a republican splitting their’s two ways.

It's only censorship when progressive students demand (without any ability to enforce their demand) that some speakers aren't welcome. It's TOTALLY not censorship when a university literally prohibits any speaker from saying certain words or discussing verboten topics. This is Common Sense 101. /s
