Is Schefty sitting out FA kickoff?

Yeah Thomas hasn’t shown much but at least he can play CF and the real treat is getting off the Straw contract a year early AND helping the rotation.

Allen can replace Montgomery; and they loosen up OF. If they wanna go bigger for Gaddis, maybe we ask for Druw Jones? Slade Caldwell?! I doubt that works but also seen crazier things recently.

Catching up on old episodes and loved the idea of a Straw/Montgomery trade you suggested.

Question though- since Straw was DFA’d and never claimed, isn’t that old contract a sunk cost? Meaning it wouldn’t be moved with Straw? I could be wrong but thought it was stuck here.
