Huge document drop on the California State Rail Plan website, including a statewide network takt diagram and full list of infrastructure projects. For the first time, we are seeing the state planning an electrified "Sac-OAK-SF-SJ Mega Corridor":

There are major changes vs the draft!

Most notable is a new Bay crossing for regional rail between San Francisco and Oakland, which gets a ton of service to Richmond. Integrated rural express buses are shown in eastern and northern California. High speed rail is shown between Gilroy and Madera as planned. Valley Link between Dublin Pleasanton and Stockton is shown. In contrast with the draft, this version selects Suisun-Fairfield instead of Vallejo for the Carquinez Strait Crossing, decreases HSR frequency between Madera and Gilroy and San Francisco from 15 to 30 minutes, drops display of "regional transit" between Union City and Redwood City via Dumbarton, drops ACE frequency from 30 minutes to every 4 hours, increases SR37 SMART frequency from 60 to 30 minutes, adds regional rail to Sacramento from Davis to Roseville and Natomas to Stockton, decreases San Joaquins from hourly to every two hours, and extends it from Stockton to San Jose, drops hourly Capitol Corridor trains from Oakland to San Jose in favor of running them all to Gilroy via San Francisco, drops many regional bus routes from the map, including 680, east Sierras, and Arcata to Alturas via Redding, and decreases rail frequency to Reno from hourly to every four hours.
