I had a martingale harness instead of the collar. Worked great. Sometimes called a “no-pull harness”. Basically uses a second loop to apply pressure to their chest when they pull

When I moved, I looked at using them but was under a time constraint. It was both cheaper and quicker to rent a U-Haul and take it all to the city dump.

I think it’s a 1930s thing. I have an aunt that makes this, but adds gelatin to make it a jam. It’s disgusting.

Do you think fostering one of these hounds short-term is feasible with a young child in the home, or best to let someone with a different situation handle that?
