Saying, "harassment has never worked", then citing "civil society" "healthy discourse" after the previous post feels contradictory and likely to lead to more of the same disappointment.
Jay: Harassing the mods into banning someone has never worked and harassing people in general has never changed their mind, yet it's a behavior that persists across social media anyways, with negative consequences for civil discourse and society. Human nature is a contributing factor, but systems that reward outrage only make the problem worse. We're system architects at our core, we built a decentralized network so you could run your own moderation, but beyond that our upcoming healthy discourse project is taking some swings at the interaction model that drives these dynamics on bluesky. Excited to start seeing it in action

This person in particular is a huge problem and even was cited in federal documents harming trans folks. What are you doing to address this? "Lol are u a sad PEPE! Le epic meme right?"
