day 13 done, very slow today. refactored the menu to be TabBars and a shader to colour per-tab, sucks that they don't have individual colours...

not every day is a banger lol

today was all video watching and messing around with the TabContainer, i'm going to have to make my own instead :/

i think i broke my own rules again... (working on the weekend)

i was learning shaders in godot (for the first time!) and i planned this shader... so why not have it be my first?

this is going to be a death animation for the Aliens!

did way too much today, mostly UI/Upgrade stuff (which was planned for v0.4...)

i did 10.5h today, and only had to do 1.5...
i did friday AND monday's work already

day 8 done, Aliens are all in, with different levels and amounts of Stars to give! only had to do 2.5h today, but did 5 :3

also made a StatsManager and am thinking about serialisation!

day 6 is done, actual coding has begun!
the game might not work like Bongo Cat, since i can't do background input detection in godot :(

so it's gonna be a regular idle game from here on out?

- start when i wake up or an hour after getting ready

- 4h/day mon-fri, i can stack it up for FUTURE days (8h on mon means i don't have to do any on a future day)

- no work on weekends (but i don't really do anything else lol)

did a couple new aliens along with 2 frame anims, but they are not very good at all lol.

day 3 is done and i have ALREADY broken my schedule, i did 5.5h today whoops...

did some interesting Value, Profit, Loss for the GDD (this is for all future projects too🧠). don't think these are good metrics, but it's something i'm considering!
