A thing that strikes me about the federal push to find an "environmental cause for autism" is how motivated it is to Find Someone to Blame. RFK approaches this as a lawyer, not a scientist. I am confident that this group they want to blame for autism will be used as a scapegoat for those in power.

I'm not sure if anyone is talking about how all this overreach and "flooding the zone" is Trump's usual tactic of ruining everything for everyone then using the ruin as a bargaining chip. I'm not sure what the NIH and other agencies could have done but it was sad to see them knuckle right under.
